Miryang City and LH Construction Technology Headquarters Conduct 'Happy Volunteer Tour'

170 Lavender Buckwheat Embroidered Pillows Produced and Delivered to Local Disabled Households

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Miryang City in Gyeongnam announced on the 17th that the Miryang City Volunteer Center conducted 'Happy Voluntour' at the LH headquarters with 20 executives and employees from the LH Construction Technology Headquarters.

Voluntour is a compound word of volunteer and tourism, a program that combines volunteering and experience to provide both fulfillment and fun. It is part of a contest project sponsored by LH, and this year, due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), only volunteer activities were conducted at the LH headquarters.

The executives and employees practiced meaningful social contribution in line with LH's slogan of "Better Life, Better Tomorrow, Creating Together" by making and delivering 170 lavender buckwheat pillows embroidered with French embroidery for severely disabled households spending most of their time at home due to COVID-19.

Lee Jeong-young, Director of the Resident Life Support Division, said, "These days, as depression and fatigue increase due to COVID-19, I am grateful to practice sharing together with LH company employees for our local neighbors in need. I hope LH will continue to carry out various social contribution activities together with Miryang City."
