TAG Heuer unveils new Carrera Chronograph

-New Carrera Chronograph Line Unveiled, Adding a Distinct Luxury to the Original Racing Chronograph

To celebrate the 160th anniversary of TAG Heuer's founding, a new model in the TAG Heuer Carrera collection will be unveiled. The iconic chronograph functions and details unique to the Carrera collection are retained, featuring the elegant design of the original model enhanced with modern aesthetics.

The Carrera Chronograph, newly reinterpreted and introduced in 2020, was inspired by the silver dial Heuer Carrera model launched in 1963. The smooth stainless steel bezel boldly removes the tachymeter scale to express the unique design and aesthetic details of the original model.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph, made with a diameter of 42mm, comes in a total of four colors: opaline black, sunray brushed blue, deep gray, and silver dial. The sub-dials at 3 and 9 o’clock feature an 'azurage' detail, while the 6 o’clock position includes a small seconds counter and a date window. Additionally, the innovative in-house movement Caliber Heuer 02 is equipped, adding vitality to the timepiece.

The black and blue dial models are presented with an H-shaped stainless steel bracelet version. The angles of the outer and inner links are rounded, boasting a fluid and luxurious design. The bracelet is shorter and thinner, providing a more comfortable wearing experience. The silver dial with rose gold hands and the deep gray dial harmonize with a luxurious brown alligator leather strap, maximizing classic elegance. The screw-down sapphire case back features a rose gold-colored oscillating mass, allowing the dynamic movement of the innovative movement to be admired.

The TAG Heuer Carrera collection has been equipped with the most innovative watchmaking technology developed in-house. The newly redesigned timepiece is powered by the in-house Heuer 02 movement. It also features a transparent case back, allowing the dynamic movement of the mechanism to be viewed.

The TAG Heuer in-house movement Heuer 02 is meticulously crafted 100% Swiss made at the TAG Heuer manufacture in Chevenez, Switzerland. Comprising 168 components including a column wheel and vertical clutch, it boasts top-quality chronograph timekeeping technology and the highest quality manufacture movement. Furthermore, it offers an innovative 80-hour power reserve technology.
