Barogo Supports Entry into Non-Face-to-Face O2O Platform for Senior-Produced Products Kang Ik-gu, President of the Korea Senior Workforce Development Institute (left), and Cho Byung-ik, COO of Barogo, are signing an agreement.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Barogo, a startup operating a last-mile logistics IT platform (CEO Lee Taekwon), announced on the 16th that it has signed a "business agreement for entering the non-face-to-face online-to-offline (O2O) platform for senior-produced products" with the Korea Senior Human Resources Development Institute (President Kang Ik-gu).

This agreement was planned to pioneer sales channels for senior job projects that have relied mostly on local commercial districts for sales, and furthermore to revitalize senior jobs through discovering and nurturing star products.

Barogo will assist products produced through senior job projects to enter the non-face-to-face O2O platform. They plan to provide one-on-one support from branding and delivery market analysis to onboarding delivery order channels, matching delivery execution hubs (branches), and training for delivery service provision. Additionally, a 5% discount benefit will be offered when purchasing packaging containers from 'BarogoPack,' an eco-friendly and customized packaging container sales site.

Among the types of senior job projects, priority support will be given to market-type business groups and food and beverage business groups of senior-friendly companies. Starting with business groups in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon regions this year, support will be expanded nationwide next year. Cho Byung-ik, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Barogo, said, "We will actively support the stable establishment of senior-produced products' entry into the non-face-to-face O2O platform by utilizing Barogo's unique infrastructure."
