Forecast Visits Elderly Living Alone Center to Deliver 'Happiness Boxes' Worth 100 Million Won


[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation and Woori Financial Group visited the Comprehensive Support Center for Elderly Living Alone ahead of Chuseok and announced on the 16th that they held a ceremony to deliver 'Woori Happiness Boxes' worth 100 million won.


To help elderly people living alone have a warmer Chuseok, 'Woori Happiness Boxes' will be delivered to more than 40 elderly welfare facilities nationwide.


In particular, the 'Woori Happiness Boxes' are composed of 10 types of food products made from domestic agricultural products to support farms struggling due to COVID-19 and flood damage.


A KDIC official stated, "Going forward, KDIC and Woori Financial will continue to look around and extend a helping hand to neighbors in need, working together to realize social value."
