Infraware's Idle Princess Pre-Registration Nears 1 Million Promotional model Kim So-hye's recording scene of the Children Princess OST.

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] The mobile RPG (role-playing game) "Idle Princess," serviced by Infraware, is expected to surpass 1 million domestic pre-registration applicants ahead of its official launch at 11 a.m. on the 17th.

On the 15th, Infraware announced that the number of domestic pre-registration applicants for Idle Princess has exceeded 850,000. To celebrate surpassing 800,000 and to wish for reaching 1 million, various events are being held on the official Idle Princess website and cafe. Those who join the official cafe and leave a greeting by midnight on the 17th will be entered into a draw to receive gifticons and VIP packages.

Idle Princess features a storyline where the protagonist (father) travels dimensionally from the real world (human world) to another world (異世界, spirit world), meets Orlea, the daughter of the Spirit Queen, and purifies the contaminated world.

Developed in-house by Infraware’s subsidiary I&V Games, the game has attracted attention as popular Japanese writers and voice actors directly participated in character creation and recording. In particular, the TV commercial (TVC) YouTube video featuring Kim So-hye, an actress and former member of the group I.O.I, was first released on the 3rd and has since recorded 1.38 million views.

Infraware plans to release the Idle Princess OST album at 12 p.m. on the 17th, featuring participation from well-known musicians. The title track is Orlea’s theme song, "Du Sone Damajwo," available in both Korean and Japanese versions. Shaun Kim, a famous producer who arranged and performed many hit songs such as Wanna One’s "Boomerang," Big Bang’s "Monster," and EXID’s "Hot Pink," directly participated in the arrangement and performance of Kim So-hye’s first single cover song.

Lee Haeseok, CEO of I&V Games, said, "After the pre-launch of Idle Princess in Taiwan last June, we actively reflected user feedback to further upgrade the game’s convenience and fun elements. We will strive to provide a more complete service until the launch to repay the support we have received."

Idle Princess is currently holding a "Dokkaebi Language Imitation" challenge event with Kim So-hye. Participants who watch Kim So-hye’s "Dokkaebi Language Challenge" video and join the event will receive various prizes such as Galaxy Buds Live, in-game VIP coupons worth 100,000 won, and VIP packages including Kim So-hye’s autograph. The event runs until September 30.
