[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seocho District Council (Chairperson Kim Ansook) announced that it will establish and implement thorough quarantine measures in line with the implementation of Social Distancing Level 2 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
First, transparent partitions for droplet prevention and microphone covers on the podium have been installed at each committee room seat to prepare quarantine measures suitable for the COVID-19 situation.
Additionally, the number of attendees in the main assembly hall will be limited to a minimum, and all entrants will undergo temperature checks followed by seating with one seat apart.
As part of strengthened quarantine measures, the 299th extraordinary session originally scheduled from the 9th to the 15th will be changed and shortened to a three-day session from the 21st to the 23rd.
Chairperson Jang Okjun of the Operations Committee stated, “Seocho District Council will thoroughly implement quarantine measures and strive to set an example in prevention to overcome COVID-19. We will operate the session by establishing a systematic quarantine system and take the lead in protecting the health of district residents until COVID-19 is eradicated.”
