Get Trading Fee and Currency Exchange Benefits When Trading Overseas Stocks with the 'Namu' App

[Asia Economy Reporter Kum Boryeong] When investing in overseas stocks through NH Investment & Securities' mobile application 'NAMUH,' investors can receive preferential treatment on trading fees and currency exchange fees.

NH Investment & Securities announced on the 14th that it will offer various benefits, including preferential trading fees and currency exchange fees, to overseas stock investors using the NAMUH app.

For first-time new customers using the NAMUH app and existing NAMUH customers trading overseas stocks for the first time, preferential fees of 0.09% on online trading in nine countries (the United States, Hong Kong, China, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Vietnam, and Indonesia) and 100% discount on currency exchange fees will be applied from today until March next year.

Additionally, first-time new customers will receive free real-time quotes for U.S. stocks and investment information content from the Research Center. Among the first-time new customers who open accounts through the NAMUH app, the first 50,000 will be given an investment support fund of $20.

NH Investment & Securities provides a Korean won purchase service for overseas stocks. Customers can deposit Korean won into their accounts and purchase overseas stocks immediately without currency exchange. There is also a non-stop trading service that eliminates the inconvenience of waiting several days for the proceeds to be deposited after selling overseas stocks.

Kim Dooheon, Head of Digital Sales Division at NH Investment & Securities, said, "In the first half of the year, the COVID-19 pandemic, the low-interest-rate policies of major countries worldwide, and discussions on domestic stock capital gains tax have coincided, leading domestic investors to prefer overseas stocks. As interest in overseas investment continues to grow, we plan to continue supporting customers so that they face no difficulties in investing."
