[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] Last year’s 'Player of the Year' Moon Kyung-jun (38, Husem) takes the lead.

On the 11th, at the Bears Best Cheongna Golf Club in Incheon (par 71, 7,238 yards), during the second day of the KPGA Korean Tour Shinhan Donghae Open (total prize money 1.4 billion KRW), he surged with a 6-under-par round to top the leaderboard at 13-under-par 129 strokes. Starting from a tie for second place, one stroke behind, he recorded one eagle and five birdies (one bogey). He reduced three strokes in the front nine with a birdie on the 14th hole (par 5) and a 'shot eagle' on the 15th hole (par 4), and in the back nine, he made two pairs of consecutive birdies on holes 1-2 and 4-5.

His perfect play was slightly marred by a '3-putt' bogey on the 8th hole (par 4). He relied on his 'pinpoint iron shots' with a green hit rate of 88.9%. Racing ahead with a four-stroke lead, he seized the chance for his second career win in five years since his 2015 Maekyung Open victory. Moon Kyung-jun, who said, "My shot feel has been good lately, and I often got the ball close to the pin," added, "Putting seems to be going well in this tournament too," and cheered, "I will play the remaining two days like today."

No Seung-yeol (29, Isu Group) added 2-under-par to tie for second place (9-under-par 133 strokes). Kim Min-gyu (19, CJ Logistics) is also in this group. Wang Jeong-hoon (25) is tied for fourth place (8-under-par 134 strokes), Kang Kyung-nam (37) tied for eighth place (7-under-par 135 strokes), and 'Player of the Year' Kim Han-byeol (24, Golfzon) is tied for 17th place (5-under-par 137 strokes). 'Maekyung Open champ' Lee Tae-hee (36, OK Savings Bank) is tied for 30th place (3-under-par 139 strokes), and 'leading money winner' Kim Sung-hyun (22, Golfzon) is tied for 40th place (2-under-par 140 strokes).
