KT models are posing with the Galaxy Z Fold2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G, which will be available for pre-order starting on the 11th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samsung Electronics and the three mobile carriers will begin pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G starting on the 11th. Additional gifts such as a 3-month free Netflix subscription, coffee machines, massage guns, and car air purifiers have been offered to attract subscribers.

On the 10th, the three carriers and Samsung Electronics announced that pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be held from the 11th to the 15th, with the official launch on the 18th. Pre-orders can be made at nationwide Digital Plaza stores, offline stores of each mobile carrier, Samsung Electronics’ official website, carriers’ online malls, and online open markets such as Coupang and 11st. Those who pre-order can receive and activate their devices starting from the 15th.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 is priced at 2,398,000 KRW and will be released in Mystic Bronze and Black colors. The Galaxy Z Fold2 supports features such as a larger 7.6-inch main screen and a 6.2-inch cover screen with 'Flex Mode' that allows it to stand at any desired angle. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G, priced at 1,650,000 KRW, is an upgraded model with an improved AP compared to its predecessor. It will be available in Mystic Bronze, Gray, and White colors.

The carriers have launched various gift benefits to attract subscribers. SK Telecom offers customers who pre-order through the T Direct Shop a choice of one gift from seven 'T Gift' items, including ▲ Spigen case, ▲ Alo wireless massage gun, and ▲ Creang car wireless charger. Selecting the '5GX Plan + Direct Plan' benefits on the Direct Shop allows for a 25% selection discount and an additional 5% SK Pay points accumulation, an online-exclusive benefit.

KT offers pre-order customers at KT Shop a choice of one gift among ▲ vibration massage gun, ▲ coffee machine, or ▲ exclusive case. KT Shop is also running a 'Share the Promotion' event, giving the first 5,000 participants a 2,000 KRW CU gift certificate. Subscribers to the 'Super Plan Special Plus' or higher plans, which provide unlimited 5G data, can use the Netflix Standard plan worth approximately 12,000 KRW per month free for three months. LG Uplus announced on the 10th that it will begin pre-orders for Samsung Electronics' 'Galaxy Z Fold2' and 'Galaxy Z Flip 5G' starting from the 11th, offering various gifts in line with the purchase period.
