Hospital Appointment Service 'Ddokdok', Major Overhaul of Mobile App

Enhancement of 'Hospital Search Function' Including Keyword Search and Filter Settings

Hospital Appointment Service 'Ddokdok', Major Overhaul of Mobile App

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheolhyun] Vibros (CEO Song Yongbeom), which operates the convenient hospital reservation service 'Ddokdak,' announced on the 10th that it has significantly revamped its mobile app, focusing on enhancing the hospital search function to help patients manage their health more conveniently. The app update was carried out to help patients search for their desired hospitals more easily and to provide hospitals with opportunities to secure more visiting patients.

First, Ddokdak analyzed frequently searched keywords by patients and advanced the search function. Users can search by treatment names or departments such as infant health checkups or pediatrics to find suitable hospitals. When searching by disease names, users can check not only hospitals that provide treatment but also information about the disease and average treatment costs.

The filter function was also upgraded to allow more detailed hospital searches. By setting filters such as 'Immediate Treatment,' 'Specialist Treatment,' 'Years Established,' 'Hospital Size,' 'Facilities Available,' 'Equipment Available,' and 'Parking,' users can view only hospitals that meet their criteria. Additionally, frequently searched keywords like 'Emergency Room,' 'Female Doctor,' and 'Health Checkup' have been categorized separately.

A separate 'Hospital Information' page that hospitals can directly write on has also been prepared. Through this, patients can check detailed information about the hospital, such as the medical staff's career and consultation hours, while hospitals can freely write about their treatment philosophy and strengths to appeal to patients.

Song Yongbeom, CEO of Vibros, said, "As the number of patients using Ddokdak rapidly increased after the spread of COVID-19, we considered ways to improve user convenience. We plan to launch a payment service in the third quarter of 2020 to enable all processes except treatment to be completed through Ddokdak, making it natural for patients to use Ddokdak when visiting hospitals."
