[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Tesla Korea announced on the 6th that it will open the first Tesla Center in Korea this month in Busan.
The Tesla Center is a space that integrates a store and a service center, enhancing customer convenience and efficiency. Customers visiting the Tesla Center can receive comprehensive services ranging from vehicle test drives and purchase consultations to maintenance and delivery.
The first Tesla Center in Korea, located in Yeonsan-dong, Yeonje-gu, Busan, operates from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both weekdays and weekends. Tesla plans to additionally open a Tesla Center in Bundang within this year and gradually expand to metropolitan cities thereafter.
In addition, Tesla will open a new service center in Munjeong on the 14th, following Gangseo and Bundang. Tesla-authorized body shops for vehicle accident repairs are also separately operated at eight locations nationwide, with both service centers and authorized body shops expanding nationwide.
Meanwhile, Tesla continues to make efforts to expand its proprietary charging infrastructure. The 33rd Supercharger station will be opened at the Busan Tesla Center.
As of early September, 15 Destination Charger stations have been newly opened nationwide, including at Gwangju Jeil Bowling Center and Cheongju Evendale Country Club. Since this year, J1772 slow charging adapters and CHAdeMO fast charging adapters, which can be used at public charging stations nationwide, have also been supplied.
