Expanding Sales and Promoting Positive Awareness of Social Economy Enterprises

[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] The "Jeollabuk-do Social Economy Chuseok Discount Event," jointly hosted by Jeollabuk-do, Jeollabuk-do Economic and Trade Promotion Agency, and Hanul Consumer Life Cooperative, will be held for 24 days from September 4 to 30 at the social economy joint sales store "Saengsaeng Nanum Store."

This event, aimed at spreading awareness of the social economy within the region and supporting product sales, was organized as a discount event for local residents and social economy enterprises whose consumption has been depressed due to COVID-19.

The event offers various products, including social economy enterprise products and Chuseok gift sets, at a 20% discounted price.

Na Seok-hoon, Head of Jeollabuk-do Job Economy Headquarters, said, "Through the discount sales event at the social economy joint sales store, we hope to get closer to consumers and help them have a bountiful Chuseok." He added, "We ask for the residents' great interest and participation."

Saengsaeng Nanum Store (Baekje-daero, Deokjin-gu) exhibits and sells excellent products from 153 companies, including social enterprises, cooperatives, and village enterprises, to expand sales channels for socially disadvantaged social economy entities. Since 2018, Hanul Consumer Life Cooperative has been operating the store through a public contest.
