"Learn Coding with Blocks" KT Launches AI Education Solution

[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT announced on the 31st that it has launched an artificial intelligence (AI) education platform called ‘AI Coding Block,’ where anyone can easily and enjoyably learn coding.

AI Coding Block is an educational platform designed to help users easily understand the principles of AI coding by stacking blocks. Even beginners in coding, such as elementary and middle school students, can implement AI services like ‘Giga Genie’ with just one mouse click. The newly released Coding Block is the first in the AI education industry to incorporate supervised and unsupervised machine learning tools that learn autonomously.

The supervised machine learning tool is an AI machine learning method where input and output values are entered into the AI, and the AI learns to find results. Users can create AI coding algorithms using image or text data to distinguish data or find images. The unsupervised machine learning tool is a machine learning method where only input values are entered into the AI, and the AI autonomously discovers rules and finds results. Based on the rules discovered by itself, the AI can view animal images and find new images or automatically group and classify similar data.

Especially, the advancement of machine learning, where AI learns autonomously, is essential to implement a higher level of AI technology. Through AI Coding Block, KT provides the first integrated supervised and unsupervised machine learning tool for beginners in domestic AI/SW education solutions, tailored to the level of novices so that anyone can learn. AI Coding Block added multilingual speech recognition (STT) and speech synthesis (TTS) supporting 20 languages including English and Chinese, an AI assistant, emotion recognition, various video and image recognition functions, and the ability to connect desired real-time data. Users can create more diverse and enjoyable AI algorithms themselves.
