Nakseong Venture Startup Center 2nd Non-Face-to-Face Mentoring Day Held

[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) Nakseong Venture Startup Center will hold the 2nd Mentoring Day on the 27th, following the 1st Nakseong Mentoring Day held in May.

Nakseong Mentoring Day is a startup support program by Nakseong Venture Startup Center that matches entrepreneurs with field-specific expert mentors 1:1 according to their startup stage, helping to solve difficulties through customized diagnosis.

The event was originally planned to be held in person, but due to the recent rapid increase in COVID-19 cases and the elevation of social distancing to level 2, it was decided to proceed entirely online.

The mentoring will be conducted online via the video conferencing program Zoom, and on the day of the training, applicants will receive the link via email and text message.

Following the 1st Mentoring Day, which focused on investment attraction and general management, the 2nd session will cover more practical topics and will be held for about 4 hours from 1 PM to 5 PM.

In the legal field, Attorney Jin-hee Kim (JH Law Office), in intellectual property, Patent Attorney Sang-cheol Lee (Guard Patent Law Office), in SNS marketing, Director Doo-hwan Kim (Korea SNS Talent Development Institute), and in business plan writing, Director Young-min Jang (Hive Networks) will participate as mentors.

Nakseong Venture Startup Center has been operating since March to discover prospective entrepreneurs and support and foster excellent companies in the region, and despite the COVID-19 situation, it is emerging as a representative startup facility in Gwanak-gu through various non-face-to-face startup programs such as education, consulting, and mentoring.

Mayor Park Jun-hee said, “This event will be a great opportunity to solve various concerns of entrepreneurs,” and added, “We ask for the interest and participation of many entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs interested in startups.”
