34-Pyeong Apartment Reproduction Space, Offering One-Stop Shopping Experience from Interior Furniture to Materials

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Ilum, the living furniture specialist brand of the Persys Group, announced on the 20th that it has unveiled the collaborative exhibition space 'Ilum·LG Ziin Model House Showroom' at Ilum Mapo Seodaemun Store in partnership with LG Hausys.

The 'Ilum·LG Ziin Model House Showroom,' opened as a shop-in-shop at Ilum Mapo Seodaemun Store, is the first collaborative exhibition space revealed since the interior business partnership agreement between Ilum and LG Hausys last month. It realistically recreates the interior of an actual 34-pyeong (112.2m2) apartment.

The showroom is designed with the concept of a family home shared by a couple, children, and a pet cat, offering a restful, vibrant, and safe living space. It features modern and simple solid wood furniture and beige tone-on-tone materials to complete a 'natural style' mood space.

A variety of Ilum furniture perfectly suited to each family member’s lifestyle harmonizes with LG Hausys’ interior materials such as windows, flooring, wallpaper, artificial marble, and sliding doors, creating a stylish and creative space. All interior components, from furniture to materials, can be directly consulted and purchased on-site.

The space consists of a couple’s bedroom, kids’ room, living room, kitchen/dining area, home office, balcony caf?, two bathrooms, utility room, and entrance. Notably, it reflects the family’s lifestyle with features such as the mother’s home office as a freelance writer, the father’s balcony greenhouse for plant enthusiasts, and a kids’ room designed for the child’s dreams and safety.

In particular, the home office space focuses on creating an environment conducive to work at home, responding to the increase in people working remotely due to COVID-19. It is designed as a multi-functional space suitable for both daily life and work. Ilum’s LoPlus table, ThetaPlus bench and chair, and Glen library are arranged with LG Hausys’ X-Comfort flooring and aluminum slim sliding doors to realize an optimal home office environment.

The balcony greenhouse is a mini garden space connected to the home office balcony. It applies LG Hausys’ DIY deck flooring, Uzen Real Easy, and includes Ilum’s home caf? series, the Lema caf? cabinet, allowing the balcony to also function as a home caf?.
