Korea Aerospace Industries, Contract with Airbus Reduced from 100 Billion to 25.7 Billion Won

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Korea Aerospace Industries has revised its contract with Airbus, originally signed on November 18, 2014, for the supply of 'A321 16A Barrel Panels' worth 102.3 billion KRW, down to 25.7 billion KRW.

The contract end date was also changed from December 31, 2025, to December 31, 2021. The reason for the correction is "early termination of production due to deletion of the A321 Section 16A shape supplied by our company following design changes to Airbus's A321 aircraft."
