Practice on Doll Therapy Concepts and Animal Symbolic Personality Type Test

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Basic Academic Support Center will conduct a training session titled "Online Doll Counseling Therapy" for 95 elementary and middle school teachers over two days starting the 18th, using the video conferencing system ZOOM from 1 PM for five hours each day.

This training aims to teach teachers effective verbal communication methods and anxiety relief techniques for students facing learning difficulties due to "complex multifactor" issues such as psychological and emotional problems and lack of care.

Professor Choi Kwang-hyun from Hansei University, an expert in family counseling and doll therapy, will explain counseling techniques that use dolls as tools to easily and effectively intervene in various problems exhibited by children and adolescents.

On the 18th, the training will cover key concepts of doll therapy, self-exploration through the symbolic system of animal dolls, and peer relationship exploration. On the 19th, counseling practice will be conducted using ASPT (Animal Symbol Personality Test).

Won Ok-soon, head of the Elementary Education Department at the City Office of Education, said, "We expect that teachers will be able to understand the various problems faced by students requiring complex multifactor learning support and acquire effective communication methods and counseling techniques."
