DSDL Group announced on the 17th that the family hotel brand Jeju 'The Grand Seomorum' hotel has opened. Through the renewal of the existing 'Hotel Seomorum,' it has been reborn with a total of 132 rooms, including 53 rooms in the main building and 79 rooms in the new building.
It also features various facilities such as the banquet hall 'Beomseom Hall' that can accommodate 150 people, conference rooms, an outdoor 'Grand Infinity Pool' with a large heated jacuzzi pool overlooking the sea, an indoor swimming pool and sauna, an all-day dining restaurant 'Basolt,' 'Sunset Lounge & Bar,' and a kids' room, allowing guests to enjoy relaxation, leisure, and business simultaneously.
In particular, Hotel Seomorum offers a panoramic view of Beomseom, Munseom, and Seopseop, natural protected areas designated by UNESCO, from the rooms. It is also located at the midpoint of Olle Trail Course 7 along the coast, allowing guests to fully enjoy Jeju's nature. Additionally, by enhancing various differentiated facilities and services, it is perfect for customers who want to enjoy a 'Hokangseu (hotel + vacation)' this summer as the intense heat begins.
Rooms for 4 people and Ondol rooms, Kids' room... Optimized for family customers
Hotel Seomorum has prepared various rooms for families of four or more. Generally, the maximum occupancy of hotel rooms is often three people, so families of four or more have to pay extra fees or book additional rooms.
However, Hotel Seomorum secured about one-third of its rooms to accommodate four guests. The rooms for four people are larger than standard rooms and are equipped with two queen-size beds for convenience. Additionally, there are connecting rooms where two rooms are linked by a door and can be used as one, as well as ondol-style rooms where guests can comfortably live on the floor.
They also offer a kids' room for guests with young children. Made with eco-friendly materials, it is safe for children to use and equipped with children's playground equipment, scheduled to open within this month. Furthermore, Hotel Seomorum is preparing various learning programs for guests with children. They plan to strengthen services for family customers by offering packages that include exploring nearby UNESCO sites and nature experience activities.
Pets are family too, pet-only rooms
Hotel Seomorum has also prepared pet-only rooms exclusively for guests visiting with their dogs. Among all hotel rooms, two are designated as pet rooms with the same structure as general rooms but with additional services.
Guests staying in these rooms receive pet-specific amenities. By paying an additional fee, they can receive potty pads and treats, as well as services such as waste cleaning. Cleaning and disinfection are intensified to ensure subsequent guests do not experience discomfort, and soundproofing is enhanced to prevent inconvenience to other guests. Only dogs weighing 10 kg or less are allowed to stay.
Additionally, Hotel Seomorum donates 'Weltz' pet food to abandoned dog centers in Jeju Island in collaboration with 'Wooriwa' for animal protection. They plan to continuously donate pet food and develop and implement various programs for animal protection.
Moreover, Hotel Seomorum is an eco-friendly hotel certified by the Ministry of Environment. It uses eco-friendly finishing materials and has established eco-friendly operational standards, expanding management systems such as amenities that reduce plastic use, water dispensers to reduce vinyl use, and recycling bins in rooms. They are also conducting Olle Trail management manuals and trash-picking campaigns.
Jung-hoon Lee, General Manager of Hotel Seomorum, said, "We plan to prioritize customer safety and faithfully provide a time to create happiness and memories during their stay," adding, "We hope you fully experience the atmosphere of relaxation with The Grand Seomorum Hotel."
