SSG.com Hosts 'Live Quiz Show' with Jam Live


[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] SSG.com announced on the 17th that it will hold a 'Live Quiz Show' with a total of 7 quizzes under the theme of 'A Midsummer Night's SSG Delivery' starting at 7 PM on the 17th in collaboration with Jam Live.


Jam Live is a famous live quiz show channel where users interact in real-time and solve quizzes. Recently, it has incorporated a live commerce format by emphasizing selling points while using specific products after solving quizzes.


After the 'SSG Delivery' related live quiz show ends, 'Jam Oppa's Summer Honey-flavored Late-night Snack Battle,' introducing popular products from 'No Brand' and 'Peacock,' will be broadcast consecutively. The host will directly showcase products that have attracted attention online, such as 'Peacock Jinjin Menbosha,' 'No Brand Chili Shrimp,' 'Peacock Jackson Pizza,' and 'Peacock Peacock Pocha Smoked Makchang,' through video. Customers who wish to purchase can access the link within Jam Live.


SSG.com previously held a Jam Live 'Live Quiz Show' once in June. The reason for choosing Jam Live again is to expand touchpoints with the 'MZ Generation' (a collective term for those born from the 1980s to the early 2000s). At that time, the number of real-time viewers was about 40,000, and including the pre-announcement video, the total cumulative viewers reached 100,000, showing significant attention to the content.


Kim Juntae, head of the promotion team at SSG.com who planned this event, said, "We are paying close attention to the increasing number of 'Funshumers' (Fun + Consumer) who seek fun and unique experiences like play in consumption, especially their strong preference for mobile devices and video content." He added, "To communicate naturally with them, we plan to hold another Jam Live broadcast on the evening of the 25th under the theme 'Solo SSG Delivery,' introducing special prices on items such as the 'Electroman Solo Rice Cooker,' 'Solo Ramen Pot,' and 'Blender.'"


Meanwhile, SSG.com plans to issue a 5,000 won discount coupon to the first 3,000 customers who purchase over 30,000 won via SSG Delivery or Dawn Delivery. To encourage viewing, the coupon issuance page will be shared via a link during the broadcast, and among customers who purchase products on the day of the broadcast, 20,000 SSG Money will be given by lottery. Additionally, a comment event will be held where customers who leave anticipation comments on the preview video in the Jam Live app will be given 10,000 SSG Money by lottery.
