'Inkigayo' (G)I-DLE Wins 1st Place Trophy for First Week of August... "We Will Work Harder"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] The group (G)I-DLE took first place in the first week of August on SBS's 'Inkigayo' with their new song 'DUMDi DUMDi'.

On the 16th broadcast of SBS's 'Inkigayo', featuring performances by Kang Daniel, Park Jin-young, April, Jessi, TREASURE, and others, (G)I-DLE showcased their performance to the tropical rhythm of 'DUMDi DUMDi'.

Notably, (G)I-DLE's new song 'DUMDi DUMDi' was nominated for first place alongside Zico's 'Summer Hate' and Lee Hi's 'Holo'. After the combined announcement results, (G)I-DLE secured the first place.

Regarding their first-place win, (G)I-DLE expressed, "We thank our fans. We will work even harder as (G)I-DLE in the future."

Meanwhile, the 'Inkigayo' lineup that day included Kang Daniel, Rocket Punch, Lucy, Park Jin-young, Brave Girls, SATURDAY, (G)I-DLE, ATEEZ, April, ONF, ENOi, Jessi, Cherry Bullet, TREASURE, Han Seung-woo, HEDY, HYO (Hyoyeon), and others who performed on stage.
