[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] On Saturday the 15th, rain is expected in the central region and northern Gyeongbuk.

Very heavy rain will be concentrated in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province from dawn until morning, with some areas in southern Gyeonggi receiving more than 300mm of very heavy rainfall.

The expected precipitation until that day is 100-200mm in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, and northern Chungcheong, and 20-80mm in Yeongdong region of Gangwon, southern Chungcheong, and northern Gyeongbuk.

Except for Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and Yeongseo region of Gangwon, most other areas nationwide will have heatwave warnings issued, making it hot.

By region, the morning low temperatures are forecasted as follows: △Seoul 25°C △Chuncheon 24°C △Gangneung 26°C △Daejeon 26°C △Cheongju 26°C △Daegu 26°C △Busan 25°C △Jeonju 26°C △Gwangju 26°C △Jeju 27°C.

The daytime high temperatures are forecasted as: △Seoul 27°C △Chuncheon 27°C △Gangneung 31°C △Daejeon 32°C △Cheongju 31°C △Daegu 36°C △Busan 33°C △Jeonju 34°C △Gwangju 33°C △Jeju 35°C.

Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions.

The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Heatwave warnings are in effect for most areas nationwide except Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and Yeongseo region of Gangwon, with temperatures rising above 35°C in Gyeongbuk. Many places will experience tropical nights where the minimum temperature stays above 25°C overnight, so please take care of your health."
