Workers at the site evacuated urgently due to the accident. It is reported that there were no casualties.
The Ulju-gun Office in Ulsan issued an emergency message at around 11:25 a.m., 40 minutes after the accident, informing residents of the 'chemical leak' and advising them to stay indoors and for vehicles to take detours.
