WEMAKEPRICE, 7x Increase in Indoor Clothing Sales for Infants and Children

Untact, Long Rainy Season, and Other Factors Encourage Staying Indoors... "Indoor Wear Instead of Going-Out Clothes"

WEMAKEPRICE, 7x Increase in Indoor Clothing Sales for Infants and Children

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Recently, due to the reluctance to go out and the continuous rainy season, the time spent at home has increased, leading to a rise in the popularity of indoor clothing for children.

Wemakeprice announced on the 13th that an analysis of sales data in the infant and children's clothing category from March to July over five months showed an increase in customers seeking indoor wear such as underwear, undergarments, and pajamas. Compared to the same period last year, sales in the infant and children's underwear, undergarments, and pajamas category increased by 7.8 times. By item, infant underwear increased 72 times, children's underwear 153 times, and infant pajamas surged up to 594 times.

The top 10 best-selling products in the entire infant and children's clothing category were all indoor wear. A Wemakeprice official stated, "Usually, from March when outdoor activities start to increase, customers look for outerwear, but due to the recent social atmosphere and continuous rain, people have stayed indoors, resulting in an unusual surge in sales of comfortable indoor wear." Meanwhile, Wemakeprice is holding Baby Week until the 16th, gathering popular infant and children's products for discounts. Coupons of up to 40% are also being offered.
