Busan Bank Hosts the 5th Young Artists Art Exhibition

Opportunity to Exhibit in the 2021 Art Busan & Design Emerging Artists Special Exhibition

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] BNK Busan Bank announced on the 13th that it will hold the "5th BNK Young Artists Art Competition" as a next-generation young artist development project.

Since its inception in 2013, the Busan Bank Young Artists Art Competition, now in its fifth year, has served as a gateway to discover young artists who will lead Korean contemporary art and help them enter the art world.

Especially this year, it is held in partnership with Art Show Busan, the organizer of "Art Busan," the largest international art fair in Korea, and calls for submissions in all fields of contemporary art including painting, sculpture, installation, and media art.

The total prize money is 29 million KRW, and winners will receive prize money along with an exhibition support fund of 1 million KRW for exhibiting their winning works. Additionally, winners will have the opportunity to participate in the 2021 "Art Busan & Design Emerging Artists Special Exhibition."

Applications are open from September 1 to 7, and anyone nationwide aged 20 to 34 who is a student or graduate of a visual arts college (graduate school) can apply. Detailed application procedures and contest information can be found on the Young Artists Art Competition website.
