[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Kooho Plus, a minimal young contemporary brand under Samsung C&T Fashion Division, announced on the 13th that it has launched its fall season collection themed ‘Reflection’.
Kooho Plus set the concept for this fall season as Reflection and proposed a ‘Classic Minimal’ collection reflecting the flow of time from past, present, to future.
The timeless classic minimal style was interpreted with Kooho Plus’s youthful sensibility by utilizing unique details such as volume fit, cropped lengths emphasizing structural silhouettes, material patches, and asymmetry.
The collection showcased various items including jackets, trench coats, dresses, shirts and blouses, slacks, and denim, applying neutral colors with green and blue as accent points.
Kooho Plus introduced a new style of its signature single-breasted jacket featuring a semi-over fit and belt details. The button-detail short jacket, which underwent several reorders last spring and summer, was applied with a brown check pattern for the first time.
The signature Mac trench coat was upgraded with color blocking on the collar and sleeves to add a distinctive point. A gray trench coat with asymmetrical length and back button details, fully embodying the brand’s unique vibe, also stands out.
Kooho Plus proposed jacket-style shirts with cropped lengths and outer pockets, as well as lightweight outerwear-type dresses with a natural look, as versatile items perfect for the transitional season.
Additionally, feminine coordination featuring open blouses that reveal the neckline and layered wrap skirts, as well as casual layering looks with green striped T-shirts and cropped sweatshirts, were presented.
Baeyoon Shin, Group Head of Kooho Plus, said, “We have newly created a ‘Kooho Plus style’ by applying minimal design, structural silhouettes, and edgy details to essential classic items for autumn such as tailored jackets and trench coats.”
Kooho Plus’s fall collection is available at Samsung C&T Fashion Division’s integrated online mall SSF Shop and W Concept. A pop-up store will also be operated at Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam branch from the 28th of this month to the 27th of next month.
