- Successful Subscription Closure for ‘Yangpyeong Central City’ Winner Contracts Scheduled for 18-20th
Despite the government's successive high-intensity real estate measures, the real estate market in areas that have avoided regulations is still experiencing a favorable trend. In particular, apartments newly supplied in non-regulated areas with easy access to Seoul are highly popular.
Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, which belongs to the non-regulated areas of the metropolitan area, was also excluded from the May 11 and June 17 measures. Therefore, the interest of not only investors from other regions but also actual buyers who have been waiting for new supply in Yangpyeong is focused on the new apartments.
In July, Ilsin Geonyeong sold out all housing types within the ranking for ‘Yangpyeong Humanville Central City,’ located in Block 1 of Gongheung-Yanggeun District, Yangpyeong-eup, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do (around 192-58 Yanggeun-ri). Since Yangpyeong has the lowest number of subscription savings accounts in the metropolitan area with 16,271 for first priority and 10,568 for second priority, the full subscription within the ranking for Yangpyeong Humanville Central City was significant.
Yangpyeong is expected to have high future value due to abundant favorable factors besides the advantage of being a non-regulated area.
First, the Metropolitan Area 2nd Ring Expressway (Yangpyeong-Hwado section) is under construction and scheduled to open by the end of 2022, and the Yangpyeong-Icheon Expressway has also started construction aiming for completion by the end of 2025. The Seoul (Songpa)-Yangpyeong Expressway is scheduled to open in 2023, and the expansion of Local Road No. 88 (from Toechon to Yanggeun Bridge section) is also underway, so the traffic situation is expected to improve further in the future.
Additionally, development is progressing throughout Yangpyeong. Large and small development projects are underway in Gongheung-Yanggeun District, Changdae District, Yongmun-Damun District, and Gyopyeong District.
At the Yangpyeong-gun level, efforts are being made to leap forward as a lifelong learning city. On the 17th, the Yangpyeong-gun Lifelong Learning Center held an interim report meeting for the 2nd Yangpyeong-gun Lifelong Education Mid-to-Long-Term Development Plan (2020-2025) to promote lifelong education in Yangpyeong-gun. In addition, a lifelong education council appointment ceremony was held for about 50 members of the Yangpyeong-gun Lifelong Education Council and the working council.
Since April, Yangpyeong-gun has started a research project with the Korea Lifelong Education Promotion Foundation to establish a future vision and promotion strategy for lifelong learning, and plans to complete the 2nd mid-to-long-term development plan for Yangpyeong-gun by September.
