[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Vice President and CEO Lee Tae-sung of SeAH Holdings Co., Ltd. participated in the relay campaign "Flower Bucket Challenge," which supports flower farmers struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. Lee Tae-sung, who joined the challenge upon the nomination of Samyang Trading Co., Ltd. President Heo Jun-hong, nominated Hyosung Co., Ltd. General Manager Cho Hyun-sang as the next participant.
To promote coexistence with the local community, CEO Lee purchased 70 sets of flowers and potted plants from a flower company in the Mapo area, where the group’s headquarters SeAH Tower is located, and on the 12th (today), delivered them along with thank-you cards to employees of partner companies responsible for cleaning, security, and facility management within SeAH Tower.
The "Flower Bucket Challenge" is a public relay campaign that started both on SNS and offline since February to help flower farmers facing difficulties due to cancellations of various events and gatherings caused by COVID-19. The campaign proceeds by having nominated individuals participate and then nominate the next participant.
CEO Lee Tae-sung said, "I am delivering flowers with gratitude to those who silently take responsibility for the safety and health of SeAH employees in unseen places," adding, "Just like SeAH’s mission meaning 'Making the World Beautiful,' I hope that everyone’s wishes come together to welcome a healthy and beautiful world."
