[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Changwon National University BK21Plus Intelligent Production Machinery Creative Talent Nurturing Project Team (hereinafter Creative Talent Nurturing Project Team) announced on the 11th that it held the ‘3rd Phase BK Project Final Performance Presentation’.
This project, supported by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea, received 1.33 billion KRW over 4 years and 6 months since 2016, enhancing research capabilities in the intelligent machinery field and fostering the next generation of scholars.
As the 3rd phase BK project ends on the 31st, Changwon National University’s Vice President for Research and Industry-University Cooperation Lee Jae-hyun, participating professors, and graduate students attended to present achievements, award plaques of merit, and give incentives to outstanding students.
Lee Jae-hyun, Vice President for Research and Industry-University Cooperation at Changwon National University, stated, “We will continue to do our best to nurture talents who can lead regional development through high-level education and research, as well as industry-academia cooperation between the university and local companies.”
Meanwhile, based on the 3rd phase project team, Professor Kim Seok-ho and the education research group applied for the 4th phase BK project in the ‘Smart Factory’ field and were preliminarily selected.
