According to Gwangsan Fire Station in Gwangju on the 10th, around noon, about 100 vinyl greenhouse complexes in Yurim Village, Yugye-dong, Gwangsan-gu were flooded.
Fire Lieutenant Park Myungho and 10 volunteer firefighters carried out the task of moving tomato seedling trays from the flooded vinyl greenhouses.
Firefighters and volunteer firefighters from the Dongbu Fire Station also visited a child welfare facility (orphanage) located in Unnim-dong in the district this afternoon to conduct flood recovery activities such as clearing blocked drainage and removing soil.
In addition, they plan to cooperate with Dong-gu to support the restoration of houses and commercial buildings damaged by the heavy rain until the recovery is complete.
