Jinan-gun Social Welfare Council Conducts Experience Activity at Thailand Songkran Water Festival

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] The Jinan-gun Social Welfare Council (Chairman Kim Jin) conducted a Thai Songkran Water Festival experience activity on the outdoor yard of the Jinan-gun Youth Training Center on the 6th.

This activity, conducted as part of the Global Mind Formation Service under the Community Service Investment Project, was operated as a differentiated program that goes beyond simple English education, allowing service recipients to simultaneously acquire and understand language and culture through experiencing various countries' cultures.

Also, the Thai Songkran Water Festival is an event where people pour fragrant water on each other's hands or shoulders to pray for abundant rain in the upcoming rainy season following the dry season, ensuring a prosperous farming year and to briefly cool off from the heat.
