[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] The Jinju City Daycare Center Association in Gyeongnam announced on the 10th that they held a summer training session for childcare staff with 60 participants per day at Wolasan Woodland from the 6th to the 7th.

Hosted by Jinju City and organized by the Jinju City Daycare Center Association, this training session was scaled down due to the local outbreak of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and practical experience training was conducted at Wolasan Woodland.

Lee Yeon-sook, president of the Jinju City Daycare Center Association who organized the training, affirmed, “Through this training, let us experience the excellent attractions of our city and refer to childcare plans so that we can take better care of the children, and let us make greater efforts.”

Jinju Mayor Cho Gyu-il, who visited to encourage the participants, said, “Childcare is nurturing the future of Jinju, and I respect the work involved in childcare itself,” and added, “I express my gratitude to the childcare staff who work hard for the children despite difficult conditions.”

Meanwhile, the Jinju City Daycare Center Association has been steadily participating in community service activities every year, such as mask packaging work for daycare and home care children this year, and is promoting various activities for the healthy growth of infants and young children.
