The Fire Agency announced that the Gangwon Fire Headquarters Special Rescue Team searched around 8 a.m. on the 10th near Deungseon Waterfall, about 2.5 km from Uiam Dam in Chuncheon Seomyeon, and recovered the body of the missing Chuncheon City Hall official, Mr. Lee (32).
Near the location where the body was found, Deungseon Waterfall, the bodies of two others, police officer Mr. Lee (55) and private company employee Mr. Kim (47), were discovered on the afternoon of the 8th.
Earlier, on the morning of the 6th, three vessels?a private rubber boat fixing an artificial aquatic plant island near Uiam Dam, an administrative boat (environmental monitoring boat) from Chuncheon City Hall, and a police boat?capsized, resulting in seven people missing.
