[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] CJ ENM O Shopping Division is unveiling new fashion products for the fall and winter (FW) season two weeks earlier than usual. Trendy and vibrant designs will be the focus to uplift consumers' moods, which have been dampened by the prolonged rainy season and the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).


CJ ENM O Shopping Division announced on the 10th that it will sell three types of The Edge's Autumn Mitte blouses and two types of boy-fit denim pants on CJ O Shopping at 8:45 PM on the 11th. The Edge became the first fashion brand in the O Shopping Division to surpass 100 billion KRW in annual order amount in 2018, and last year achieved about 180 billion KRW in orders, securing the number one hit product position on CJ O Shopping for four consecutive years.


Esselia, which has been breaking records every season, will launch its Autumn Black Edition as its first product. It consists of four items: trench coat, fur leather jacket, jacket, and pants. The broadcast will be at 8:45 PM on the 13th, with a selling price of 179,000 KRW. Esselia is an exclusive brand operated through continuous collaboration with a dedicated pattern maker with 44 years of experience since 2011, offering cost-effective women's suits and recording sales exceeding 24 billion KRW last year alone.


Celeb Shop Edition, with actress Kim Ha-neul as its model, will launch new products at 7:35 PM on the 14th. The broadcast will feature suit sets, leather jackets, and dresses. Additionally, Celeb Shop Edition will operate a separate premium line called the Lux line for this FW season, planning to release Italian tweed jackets, 100% cashmere coats, teddy bear half coats, and more starting from September.


Following that, Gio Song Gio will showcase five types of Tencel T-shirts on CJ O Shopping’s fashion program Hit the Style on the 15th. It will also sequentially launch Tahari and Keith Haring, brands exclusively contracted with the New York office look brand Tahari headquarters. This season, various new products such as premium cashmere knitwear brands Le Cashmere and Loriette will also be introduced.


G Studio, created in collaboration with designer Ji Chun-hee, is scheduled to launch on the 29th. The launch products include signature items made with premium materials from last season such as the Toleno wool suit, blouse, and tweed jacket, as well as wool jackets and tweed jackets, reflecting designer Ji Chun-hee’s sensibility.


A CJ ENM O Shopping Division official stated, “We will introduce new brands for a change of atmosphere and simultaneously advance the sales period for fall products to show consumers the novelty of fashion. We will solidify our position as a leader in home shopping fashion by offering premium fashion products with good materials and sophisticated designs.”
