[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Sidiz, the chair specialist brand of the Persys Group, is receiving continuous praise with great empathy from novice moms and dads for its ongoing series "Anjeumma Toon" on its official kids Instagram channel.
As the first-generation dad parenting toon, Anjeumma Toon is a collaboration between illustrator Dda and a writer, presenting a calm record of the realities of parenting for new parents. It is released twice a week through the official Instagram channel as an Insta-toon (a short webtoon uploaded on Instagram).
The webtoon's title was named Anjeumma Toon to commemorate the launch of the newly introduced baby chair "Molti," reflecting the product's value of accompanying every stage of a child's growth from the very first moment they sit.
As both a parenting record for novice parents and a diary of parental growth, Anjeumma Toon covers small parenting stories such as ▲ the first moment sitting face-to-face with the child (First, Anjeumma episode) ▲ the process of finding out why the child is crying (Why the child cries episode) ▲ gaining weight despite skipping meals due to exhausting parenting (But I gain weight episode).
Because it tells ordinary but the most realistic stories, each episode receives comments like "It makes my nose tingle," "It chokes me up," and "It feels like my own baby's story," with many sharing their worries and finding comfort for the day through Anjeumma Toon.
Illustrator Dda said about Anjeumma Toon, "It was a grateful project for both my wife and me as it allowed us to vividly recall old memories with my son that seemed to have passed by too quickly," adding, "I hope many people will carefully build up memories of the present time when a mother can be everything in her child's life through Anjeumma Toon."
A Sidiz representative said, "We appreciate the great interest and love shown for Anjeumma Toon," and added, "Even after the series ends, we plan to carry out various campaigns and events through Sidiz's official kids Instagram channel to empathize with and share concerns about the realities of parenting for all moms and dads."
Meanwhile, Anjeumma is a new concept proposed by Sidiz, referring to the act of a child sitting up by themselves for the first time before walking. The baby chair Molti featured in Anjeumma Toon can be transformed into three forms?walker chair, high chair, and desk chair?according to the child's growth, development, and behavior. With various set configurations and option choices, it can optimally fit all body sizes and shapes from 0 to 7 years old.
