[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jeong-ho] Actor Park Sung-woong spoke about his son.
On the afternoon of the 9th, Park Sung-woong appeared as a guest on SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling' (hereafter 'My Ugly Duckling').
That day, Park Sung-woong began by saying, "My son turned 11 years old. He fully recognizes that I am an actor."
He continued, "Sometimes I go to stage greetings and appear on TV, so I guess he thinks it's nice. He must be proud of his dad. When I come back from filming, my wife tells me funny stories. She said that when my son is in the elevator with his mom and someone else gets on, he says, 'Is dad filming?'" which made everyone laugh.
Then Park Sung-woong said, "Isn't Dong-yeop hyung's son the same? Dong-yeop hyung's son also calls out, 'Where did Shin Dong-yeop dad go?' just because of his dad's name," and Shin Dong-yeop empathized, saying, "I did that when I was young."
Additionally, Park Sung-woong confessed that playing villain roles is tough. He talked about the movie 'Okay Madam' in which he stars.
He said, "When I first received the script, I naturally thought I was playing the kidnapper. But it turned out I was the husband, not the kidnapper."
Upon hearing this, Seo Jang-hoon asked, "Which is harder, playing a villain or a comedic role?" Park Sung-woong replied, "Playing a villain is much harder." He added, "Because I don't live like that in real life," which made everyone laugh.
Meanwhile, 'My Ugly Duckling' airs every Sunday at 9:05 PM.
