[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The Korea Coast Guard has entered an emergency duty system on the 9th as Typhoon Jangmi, the 5th typhoon of the season, approaches.

At 3 p.m. on the same day, Kim Honghee, Commissioner of the Korea Coast Guard, held a nationwide commanders' video conference and ordered the strengthening of maritime safety management and preparation for emergency dispatch readiness.

He also listened to the nationwide maritime situation and urged everyone to do their best to prevent any damage to the public.
