[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Jo Se-ho took body profile photos after successfully losing weight.
On the 8th, the tvN show 'On and Off' aired footage of Jo Se-ho taking body profile photos after losing 30kg.
In the episode, Jo Se-ho headed to the gym and, after working out for six months, received the results of his body composition test. Through diet control and exercise over six months, Jo Se-ho succeeded in his first-ever diet, losing 30kg in total, including an impressive 17.7kg of body fat.
Jo Se-ho said, "It's the last of my 30s, so I made a personal vow that I should keep this time."
The trainer told Jo Se-ho, "You have worked hard for six months. Your body seems to have changed a lot," and suggested, "Instead of showing off, how about taking profile photos once since you never know when it might deteriorate again?"
He continued, "It's not to show anyone else, but to show yourself," persuading Jo Se-ho. Following the trainer's encouragement, Jo Se-ho agreed to the profile shoot.
At the shoot, Jo Se-ho checked his body condition through test shots. Although he added body makeup and did muscle pumping exercises, his expression stiffened due to the visible loose belly fat.
Jo Se-ho said, "Seeing the photos makes me feel pity for myself. To be honest, it was very hard," and added, "I didn't do it to look good to anyone or to appear cool; I just wanted to be healthy, so it's embarrassing to show this. It's not a perfectly made body. On one hand, I feel proud, but on the other, many emotions arise," showing tears.
However, after regaining his composure, Jo Se-ho resumed the shoot. He said, "After doing it, the feeling of pride outweighs regret, and the joy of overcoming this even a little is greater, so I am satisfied now."
He added, "Whether my body is pretty or not, it is mine," and shared his thoughts, "I believe no one should easily judge what belongs to oneself."
