Park Jeong-min started tied for first place with Ham Jeong-woo by one stroke, recording 4 birdies, 2 bogeys, and 1 double bogey. Although he started shakily with a double bogey on the 3rd hole (par 4) and a bogey on the 4th hole (par 3), he showed resilience by making a birdie on the 9th hole (par 5), consecutive birdies on the 11th and 12th holes, and another stroke reduction on the 14th hole (par 4). Moon Kyung-jun (38, Husem) and Wang Jeong-hoon (25) joined this group. Defending champion Lee Won-jun (Australia) is tied for 16th place (1 under par, 209 strokes), 5 strokes behind. Choi Jin-ho (36, Hyundai Steel) and Yoo Song-gyu (24) are in this group. Lee Soo-min (27, Srixon) lost 4 strokes and dropped to a tie for 36th place (1 over par, 211 strokes).
