Gwangjucheon Water Level Slightly Rises Again... Approaching Highest Level On the 7th, when a heavy rain warning was issued due to record-breaking rainfall in Gwangju Metropolitan City, the water level of Gwangjucheon approached full capacity in the afternoon.

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The water level of Gwangjucheon has risen again, prompting emergency measures from the relevant authorities.

According to Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, as of 12:30 AM on the 8th, the water level of Gwangjucheon near Taepyeonggyo Bridge (in front of the KDB Building) in Yangdong, Seo-gu, reached a flood risk level.
