The committee's ruling and opposition party secretaries held a plenary meeting on the 13th, adopted the plan for the confirmation hearing, and agreed to hold the hearing on the 19th, the 7th reported.

Nominee Kim, who began his public service career by passing the 36th Administrative Examination, has a work history at the Agency for National Security Planning (ANSP), which corresponds to the current National Intelligence Service.

At the National Tax Service, he has held key positions including Director of the Real Estate Transaction Management Division, Director of the Tax Collection Division, Director of the First Investigation Bureau at the Seoul Regional Tax Office, and Commissioner of the Busan Regional Tax Office.

Nominee Kim resides in a 'Bunnap-type general rental' apartment (a 10-year rental with conversion to sale afterward) in Jagok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and is legally classified as a non-homeowner.
