(Foundation) Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation Awards 100 Million Won in Scholarships to Local Middle and High School Students

Providing a Foundation for Dreams and Future Challenges to 200 Underprivileged Youth in the Province

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] The Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation (Chairman Kim Young-gu) announced that it held a scholarship certificate presentation ceremony for students at the JB Cultural Space on the 5th.

The Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation was established in 2010 to provide practical support to local youth who face financial difficulties but do not lose their dreams and diligently pursue their studies. To date, it has awarded scholarships totaling 1 billion KRW to 2,128 students.

At the scholarship presentation ceremony, Chairman Kim Young-gu of the Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation, JB Cultural Space CEO Sung Je-hwan, and Jeonbuk Bank Vice President Kim Sung-chul attended. On behalf of 200 middle and high school students eligible for the scholarship, about 30 students participated in the ceremony to receive their scholarship certificates.

Additionally, they invited instructor Jin Sol, a female conductor, game enthusiast, and orchestra conductor of game music, to hold a JB Humanities lecture for youth titled "What You Like, What You Can Do Well," which received great enthusiasm from the young attendees.

Chairman Kim Young-gu said, “I hope the modest scholarship we provide to you will serve as a valuable foundation for your academic advancement,” and added, “The Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation plans to continue its scholarship programs to help local youth realize their dreams and hopes.”
