Visual tech startup ForByFor (CEO Yoon Junho) announced the launch of the beta service for KEYCUTSTOCK, a platform for ultra-high-definition video content of 4K resolution and above.
In the video production environment facing difficulties such as filming and overseas location shoots due to the spread of COVID-19, providing high-quality, ultra-high-definition videos of 4K and above is expected to greatly assist video production in the untact era.
Additionally, with the widespread adoption of 4K and 8K TVs, demand for ultra-high-definition video content is rapidly increasing. KEYCUTSTOCK is quickly securing 4K and above ultra-high-definition video content from professional creators worldwide to meet this demand.
The KEYCUTSTOCK beta service boasts strengths such as ultra-high-definition videos of 4K and above, royalty-free (RF) licenses, and a creator-centered revenue sharing model.
Ultra-high-definition videos of 4K and above, selected by professional curators, are uploaded after quality enhancement at an in-house image quality research lab, eliminating the need for separate quality improvement work when purchasing videos. This is to remove the burden of additional time, manpower, and costs for quality enhancement after video purchase.
ForByFor is currently researching and developing deep learning-based automatic image and quality enhancement technology through its own algorithm after training quality enhancement data using deep learning technology. This will be applied at the official service launch scheduled for September 22.
KEYCUTSTOCK provides all content under royalty-free (RF) licenses to ensure there are no restrictions on video usage. This aims to eliminate the difficulties and inconveniences video producers face due to complex and varied license agreements from existing competitors.
For creators, a creator-centered revenue sharing policy and various creative support services allow them to focus more on their creative activities. This is expected to improve content quality and generate better revenue for creators.
