On the afternoon of the 5th, Kim Ho-jung posted on his fan cafe, "The assault allegations involving my ex-girlfriend that are currently being discussed are completely untrue."

He stated, "It is true that I dated my ex-girlfriend for about two years, 7 to 8 years ago, but the stories about assault mentioned by her father are entirely false."

Earlier, a post by netizen A claiming that their daughter had dated Kim Ho-jung in the past and was assaulted by him was uploaded on Kim Ho-jung’s former fan cafe, causing a stir.

Kim Ho-jung said that the breakup with his ex-girlfriend was due to her father, explaining, "After getting to know her father, there were unreasonable demands about things I did not want, and many things made me feel really distressed. Since he did not have a significant income like me, I occasionally gave him about 200,000 to 300,000 KRW as allowance, and one day he asked to borrow a large sum of 5 million KRW. I struggled to borrow it from an acquaintance and lent it to him, but he failed to repay it by the due date, which caused me a lot of hardship."

He continued, "I still don’t understand why he posted such writings and suddenly came to me after about five years, making things difficult for me and my fans. I am really angry. Please believe my sincerity. I will definitely reveal the truth."

Lastly, Kim Ho-jung requested, "One last thing I ask of you all: my ex-girlfriend, whom I dated, is now living a happy family life and cherishing her personal life. Please refrain from posting malicious comments on her SNS or engaging in any actions that might harm her."

Kim Ho-jung’s agency, Saenggak-eul Boyeojuneun Entertainment, plans to file a complaint with the police on the 6th for defamation due to the spreading of false information regarding the ex-girlfriend’s father.

However, I want to clarify that the assault allegations involving my ex-girlfriend currently being discussed are completely untrue.

It is true that I dated my ex-girlfriend for about two years, 7 to 8 years ago. But the stories about assault mentioned by her father are entirely false.

There were other issues regarding the breakup with my ex-girlfriend, but her father was also a major reason.

I first got to know him through an acquaintance from the production company during the making of my album. Later, EBS proposed that we appear together on a broadcast program, and we appeared on the EBS program "Forgiveness" together.

However, after getting to know her father, there were unreasonable demands about things I did not want, and many things made me feel really distressed.

Since he did not have a significant income like me, I occasionally gave him about 200,000 to 300,000 KRW as allowance, and one day he asked to borrow a large sum of 5 million KRW. I struggled to borrow it from an acquaintance and lent it to him, but he failed to repay it by the due date, which caused me a lot of hardship.

He also performed street busking, but he kept forcing me to do street busking performances against my will, which was very difficult.

At the time, I tried hard not to have a bad relationship with this father.
