[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] During a live KBS radio broadcast, a man in his 40s caused a commotion by breaking a glass window from outside the studio.
According to the police and KBS on the 5th, at around 3:40 PM that day, during the live broadcast of KBS Cool FM's "Hwang Jeong-min's Music Show," a man damaged the large glass window of the open studio with a blunt object.
At the time, the broadcast was a "visible radio" live stream, so the sound of the glass breaking was transmitted over the radio waves.
Meanwhile, Hwang Jeong-min, the DJ, checked the situation outside, took his bag, and left without returning. Kim Hyung-gyu finished the broadcast in his place.
The man who broke the glass was reportedly subdued by the police who arrived on the scene and KBS staff.
The man is currently under police investigation.

Today (the 5th) at around 3:40 PM, a man believed to be in his 40s damaged a large glass window of the radio open studio located on the 2nd floor of the KBS main building with a blunt object.
The man, who caused a disturbance by breaking the glass, was arrested by the police who responded to the report and is currently under investigation.
The radio open studio is located in an area freely accessible to general viewers, so there was a possibility of additional damage, but fortunately, no casualties occurred due to the prompt response of KBS Security staff.
KBS plans to actively cooperate with the police investigation by providing surrounding CCTV footage and other assistance.
