[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 5th the preliminary notice for the 2021 academic year public kindergarten, elementary school, and special school teacher candidate selection competitive examination plan.
The planned number of recruits is 30 for kindergarten, 170 for elementary school, 11 for special school (kindergarten), and 43 for special school (elementary), totaling 254.
This is an increase of 128 from the 126 recruits preliminarily announced for the 2020 academic year recruitment exam.
The official announcement following this preliminary notice will be released on the 9th of next month, and the planned number of recruits may change at that time.
Application submissions will be accepted from October 4 to 8 through the Office of Education's online recruitment system, and the first exam will be held on November 7.
An official from the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education stated, "The contents of the preliminary notice may not match the official announcement later, so applicants must check the recruitment exam plan announced on the 9th."
Meanwhile, the preliminary notice for the 2021 academic year secondary school teacher (including health, librarian, professional counselor, nutrition, and special education teachers) candidate selection competitive examination is scheduled to be announced on the 12th.
