After long discussions, they agreed to develop and launch a new representative menu for the tourist complex, creating a ginseng pork belly dish using Jinan red ginseng, a local specialty, and organized the tasting event for commercialization.
Ginseng pork belly is a dish where meat is marinated in a special red ginseng sauce and grilled. By combining red ginseng, which has fat-decomposing effects, with pork belly, which is high in fat, customers who feel burdened by eating fatty pork belly can enjoy it without health concerns.
Oh Woo-geun, president of the Maisan Northern Shopping District Prosperity Association, said, “The northern shopping district has united to develop a new menu that is cost-effective and health-conscious.
