Eduwill Professor Lee Sol: "Approach Firefighter English Easily Through Problem Type Analysis"

The firefighter civil service exam will be completely revamped starting in 2022. The current system of three mandatory subjects?Korean, English, and Korean history?and two elective subjects will change to a format requiring five mandatory subjects. Korean language and high school subjects will be abolished, but English will remain a mandatory subject.

English is a major challenge for civil service exam candidates. In fact, many candidates express difficulties with the English subject during civil service exam briefings.

Finally, for grammar, she recommended repeatedly studying a single well-structured basic textbook. For the core part of the firefighter special recruitment, daily English, she suggested organizing situational example sentences and making a habit of separately noting unusual idioms.
