CJ ENM O Shopping Division has been recognized for its efforts in promoting excellent domestic agricultural and livestock companies by distributing large volumes of Korean agricultural and livestock products annually. As a result, it was selected as a participating company in the online coupon project for promoting agricultural product consumption conducted by aT Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation under the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
CJmall is holding a discount event to encourage the consumption of agricultural and livestock products, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs fully supports the cost of the 20% discount coupons issued during this event. Through government subsidies, CJmall offers products to consumers at more reasonable prices and provides small and medium-sized merchants with opportunities to promote their agricultural and livestock brands.
In the CJmall “Let’s Go for Korea’s Nonghal” special exhibition, a variety of fresh foods are sold at discounted prices, including grains such as rice and barley, agricultural products like fruits and vegetables, and livestock products such as pork and Korean beef. Representative products include Jirisan Grasshopper Rice, Grade 1 Nonghyup Safe Korean Beef, Livestock Cooperative Domestic Pork, and Jeju Hwanggeumhyang (Golden Hyang). Applying the 20% discount coupon (up to 10,000 KRW) allows customers to enjoy additional discounts. CJmall also plans to hold mobile live commerce sales broadcasts in August in collaboration with influencers, apart from the special exhibition.
Meanwhile, the “Let’s Go for Korea’s Nonghal (Agricultural Products, Dining Out, Rural Travel Discounts)” campaign, led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, is an event to support farmers, dining out, and rural tourism industries that have been hit hard by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. The ministry is investing additional budget resources to issue 20% discount coupons for agricultural products both online and offline, providing a total of 74.8 billion KRW in discount coupons to promote the consumption of domestic agricultural products, dining out, and rural tourism revitalization.
