[Breaking] "Residents in Landslide-Prone Areas Evacuate" Gyeonggi-do Issues Order and Recommendation

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] On the 3rd, Gyeonggi-do recommended issuing evacuation orders to residents in landslide-prone areas of 16 cities and counties as of 9 PM.

The affected cities and counties are Yongin-si, Hwaseong-si, Gwangju-si, Icheon-si, Anseong-si, Yeoju-si, Siheung-si, Yangpyeong-gun, Pyeongtaek-si, Namyangju-si, Yangju-si, Pocheon-si, Dongducheon-si, Gapyeong-gun, Paju-si, and Yeoncheon-gun.

Gyeonggi-do stated that since 300 to 700 mm of heavy rain is forecasted, it has recommended local governments to issue evacuation orders to residents.
