Song Youngdal (Cheon Hojin) is surprised to find Kang Choyeon’s (Lee Jeongeun) handkerchief in his granddaughter’s hand. Showing the handkerchief to Hong Yeonhong (Jo Miryeong), Song Youngdal asks, "Did you give this to the child?" Hong Yeonhong replies, "This is really old. I should throw it away."
Then Song Youngdal confirms, "This is the handkerchief your mother said she lost." Upon hearing this, Yeonhong examines the handkerchief and responds, "I don't think so. I think oppa misunderstood."
Jang Okja (Baek Jiwon) gathers the Song family siblings and brings up the story that Song Youngdal paid off Hong Yeonhong’s debt. She also mentions that Yeonhong was secretly meeting a loan shark and recently answered the phone saying "Mom." Listening to this, Song Dahi (Lee Choihee) also confesses, "Actually, I heard it recently too. I heard my aunt say 'Mom' on the phone."
In response, Song Nahi (Lee Minjung) asks Jang Okja how the DNA test was done, and Okja answers that it was done using a toothbrush. Nahi expresses doubt, saying, "A toothbrush could be contaminated and we don’t even know whose it is, so it’s not accurate." She adds, "We need to request the test secretly. This time, for sure."
While drinking coffee with Jang Okbun (Cha Hwayeon), Choi Yoonjung (Kim Boyeon) says that Okbun has a talent for making coffee. She emphasizes, "I'm not just saying this to please you, but you really are like a treasure, the youngest daughter. Diligent and kind." Okbun tells her to stop, saying, "I told you yesterday." Meanwhile, Okbun is caught again by the market owner’s younger brother who came to the cafe.
Nahi tells Kyu Jin (Lee Sangyeop) that they decided to redo the DNA test and that she has to go home early today. Kyu Jin pretends not to care but feels disappointed. Jaeseok (Lee Sangyi) also receives a call from Dahi saying she can’t meet today because of studying, and he laments, "This is driving me crazy. Can't see her again today?"
Meanwhile, the market people blindly sign contracts trusting Yeonhong’s claim of first-come, first-served sales. On the other hand, Kang Choyeon (Lee Jeongeun) prepares to part ways with Lee Juri (Kim Sora) and Kim Gayun (Song Daeun). When Choyeon says she plans to travel abroad, Gayun feels sad, saying, "You’re really going far. I can’t follow you."
Yeonhong also packs, saying, "I’ve finished collecting the money. Once everyone goes to work tomorrow, I’ll run away." At that moment, Song Youngdal comes in with red bean bread and brings up old memories, trying to see if Yeonhong remembers. But Yeonhong still avoids answering, saying she remembers nothing, which makes Song Youngdal increasingly suspicious.
Choi Yoonjung informs the market ladies that the commercial space sales were a scam. Hearing this, the merchants who visit the office are devastated to find it empty. They appeal to Song Youngdal, saying, "The chairman’s younger sibling scammed us."
The police say, "This is a typical sales scam. Hong Yeonhong was the ringleader," and add, "It seems she even impersonated her younger sister. The crime is very serious." Song Youngdal blames himself, saying, "I guess I wanted to believe she was Youngsook."
Then, the granddaughter points to Kang Choyeon in a photo and says, "Friend." Song Youngdal asks, "Is this the friend who gave you that handkerchief?" At that moment, Hong Yeonhong enters, apologizes, and kneels down, while Song Junseon (Oh Daehwan) goes to the loan shark and retrieves the money.
With Yeonhong’s confession, Choyeon and Youngdal confirm they are biological siblings and embrace each other while crying. Choyeon says, "The world looks so different. Oppa missed me all his life, so maybe my life wasn’t so insignificant." Youngdal apologizes, "I’m sorry I didn’t recognize you sooner." Choyeon calmly replies, "It’s such a relief to see you now. Though late, you kept your promise. The promise to come and take me."
